National Bank Announces Promotion of Jane Williams to Assistant Vice President

Blacksburg, Virginia, September 2, 2011 – James G. Rakes, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of National Bank, is pleased to announce the promotion of Jane Williams to Assistant Vice President.

Mrs. Williams grew up in Blacksburg where she graduated from Blacksburg High School and earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Virginia Tech. She joined National Bank as a Teller in 1987 and went on to become Teller Operations Supervisor in 1992 and Manager of the Hethwood Office in 1997. In 2004, Mrs. Williams graduated from the Virginia Bankers Association’s School of Bank Management. She currently serves as Branch Officer of the bank’s North Main Office in Blacksburg.

Commenting on the promotion, Chairman Rakes said, “We are pleased to offer this promotion to Jane. Her knowledge, experience and outstanding commitment to National Bank have made her an integral part of our team.”

Mrs. Williams resides in Blacksburg with her husband and two children. She is a member of the Luther Memorial Lutheran Church.
