National Bank Welcomes Mark Smith as Chief Credit Officer

National Bank would like to welcome Mark A. Smith as Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer. Smith will work from the bank’s Hubbard Street headquarters office in Blacksburg, Virginia.
 
A veteran banker with over twenty-five years in the field, Smith brings extensive experience as an auditor, credit analyst, commercial lender and senior executive to his new position at National Bank. He is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a B.S. in Economics and a graduate of the Florida School of Banking at the University of Florida.

A native of Brookneal, Virginia, Smith spent twenty years working in several Florida markets before returning to Southwest Virginia in 2013. He now resides in Roanoke with his wife and three children.
