Kirschenman Named VP of Operations at National Bank

James G. Rakes, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of National Bank, has announced the promotion of Jennifer R. Kirschenman to Vice President of Operations.

Ms. Kirschenman began her career at National Bank in 1994 as a part-time teller. She worked in the bank’s Teller Training and Mortgage departments before taking leadership of the Customer Assistance Center in 1999. During this time she also oversaw the bank’s internet and phone banking systems. In 2006 Ms. Kirschenman was promoted to Assistant Vice President. She has managed the bank’s Memorial Drive Office in Pulaski since 2008.

In her new position, Ms. Kirshenman will oversee the bank’s internal operations from the Hethwood Office in Blacksburg.

Ms. Kirschenman is a graduate of Longwood University and the Virginia Banker’s School of Bank Management. She currently resides in Giles County with her husband Jay.
